Ok so its the question pretty much noone can awnser for me, and if they do it completly contradicts what the other kids says or osmething. When im coming up to a stop sighn, and there is no white line do i stop before the stop sighn and inch up to the intersection or do i pull up to about the curb, stop then proceed?
your awnsers will be greatly appriciated.
thank you.

i doubt they'd deduct points for stopping at the stop sign then pulling forward until you can see whether or not you can go. so i'd go with that one.

Yes I agree. They want to see you driving safely, so stop at the sign as if there would be a line there, then edge forward until you can see the oncoming traffic. Good luck!

Depends on the stop sign. Remember, if there is a white line around the sign, its optional.
Kidding of course. I agree with the others, and good luck.

I just did the written ahah. You pull up to the first thing that you see. First, the line. Second, the sidewalk. Third the curb. You stop at the first one of those you encounter. If you can't see the turn completely (if a bush or something is blocking your vision) you can inch up to the next thing until you can see the road on both directions. Then go.
Good Luck.

come to a complete stop with the nose of the car behind the stop sign. then creep forward to see. this is the correct procedure...good luck.

I'm positive that you don't stop at the sign. The stop sign just signals a stop. The stop can be 10 feet away from a stop sign.

Lucky for you we just had a test on this in my highway safety class (saves a ton on insurance, totally worth it). So heres what you are supposed to do.
You do not stop at the stop sign all the time, you have to stop at a point in which you have a clear view of the oncoming traffic. Once you have stopped and yielded the right of way and made sure you have enough time to cross the intersection before another car comes you may then go through the intersection.
Good luck tommrow dude!
