Dude i'm a verde Dealer in Prospect Park PA, Verde is killing it right now.. all their parts and quality are top notch for the price. So much so that i NORMALLY build up a cutom bike and next time i get a new bike i think im going to go with Verde Top of the Line Complete... such as the Cadet..

heres a quick run down of what i know....

100% chromoly frame with built-in seat clamp (KILLER)
full chromoly fork with tapered legs and alloy compression cap (KILLER)
integrated headset (KILLER)
8" chromoly bars (KILLER)
alloy frontload stem I WOULD CHNGE IT, IDK WHY.. BUT I DONT LIKE THEIR STEMS THAT MUCH)
48 spline 3-pc tubular chromoly cranks (KILLER, COMPARALE TO PROFILE WITH PINCH BOLTS)
sealed Mid BB (KILLER)
28T chainwheel (KILLER, COMPARABLE TO A PROFILE IMPERIAL)
KMC 710 chain WHATEVER ITS A CHAIN)
alloy double wall rims (I WOULD CHANGE THESE, BUT I REALLY LIKE CUSTOM WHEELS, BUT THESE ARE STILL GOOD)
36H 3/8" front hub (SAME HERE, I HAVENT ACTUALLY PUT THIS HUB UNDER ANY ABUSE, BUT IT LOOKS KINDA WEEK)
14mm sealed cassette with 10T 1-pc driver (KILLER)
alloy platform pedals (ROCK EM TILL THEY BEND THEN GET SOMETHING BETTER, SOMETIMES THEY THROW ODSY TRAILMIX PEDALS IN THERE.. BUT ITS LIKE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOUR GONNA GET)
Odyssey tires (KILLER)
Duo Rogue Status Pivotal seat (KILLER)
alloy Pivotal seat post (KILLER), ITS JUST A SEAT POLE, MAYBE CUT IT A BIT)
4 alloy pegs with chromoly sleeves (KILLER, THEY ARE PRETTY LIGHT AND GRIND DECENT TOO)
20.75" Toptube, SAME SIZE I RIDE AND IM 5'10"
(26.8 lbs) EVENTUALLY AS YOU CHANGE PARTS YOU COULD PROBABLY GET THIS WEIGHT LOWER, BUT THAT STILL ISNT THAT BAD AND IM SURE THEY WEIGHED IT WITH 4 PEGS.)

Note: Includes caliper brake. (CAUSE ITS ILLEGAL TO SELL A BIKE WITHOUT BRAKES)

NOTE: All complete bikes require some final assembly by a qualified mechanic.
(ALL YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT ON ARE THE BARS, PEDALS, FRONT WHEEL, SEAT AND SEATPOLE.)

If you notice, even in Dans, any bike thats sold as brakeless, come with caliper brakes.
The reason being, its illegal to sell any bike without brakes. Even fixed gears have this problem, and they usually come with front brakes for this reason.
In some places it is illegal to ride a bike that has no working brake. Shoes dont count for this law.

the verde method is super legit for the price

The Verde looks real nice but for that much i would probably get one of the new fit completes instead. But thats just me.
BMXBud
i think that both the verde and the fit completes look really nice. i've actually been thinking that i'd go with either of those for my next bike, whenever that may be...

Honestly, Im not a fan of fit.
I prefer the Verde over the fit. Honestly, If I was going to get a new complete it would probably be a kink apex. My friend has one and its nice. I like the way it feels even though its completely different from my own bike.

Kink Apex all the way. Me and my friend both ordered them at the same time last year, and have had no problems at all, except for my spindle. But that is my fault. Mine is still totally stock other than paint. Weighs under 24 pounds as well. laugh.gif

I don't want to start a new thread so i'll ask in here, it's time for a new bike, most of my parts are pretty beat up so to save money i think im going to buy a complete and swap out some of my old parts i want to keep, I'm looking at either the verdes or I like the stolens but I've never riden any stolen parts, how well do they hold up? which bike would guys suggest?
